AILA and NZILA Conference – October 1996
Joint AILA and New Zealand Law Associations Conference in Wellington, New Zealand.  The topic was Alternate Dispute Resolution of Insurance Claims and included discussion of the Insurance Enquiries and Complaints Scheme, the similarities of Australian and New Zealand schemes, the UK experience and court enforced mediations.

Journal of Business Continuity – January 1997
Business Continuity Planning Seminar run by the Journal of Business Continuity.  Susan presented a discussion on risk management, business interruption, the importance of adequate cover, self insurance and claims experience.

Industry training seminars on Business Interruption Insurance for the Australian Insurance Institute of Victoria (AIIV).  Susan presented these full day seminars and was ranked by participants as the best external presenter for AIIV in 1997 and 1998.

The Association of Risk and Insurance Managers of Australasia Limited (ARIMA) – National Conference November 1998
This half day presentation discussed Business Interruption insurance and case studied the Katherine Floods and the ESSO gas outage.  A practical application of setting Declared Values was also provided.
